Over/Under: 41.0
Tony’s Prediction: Alabama: 24 Notre Dame: 20
It’s definitely interesting to see the No. 1 team in the nation being listed as the underdog as they’re getting 9.5 points. However in my honest opinion, Alabama is just flat-out a better team than Notre Dame.
With that being said, my advice would be to take Notre Dame in the under, but I do see Alabama walking away with the National Title. I’m thinking the score is going to be something like Alabama: 24 Notre Dame: 20
As my predicted score is 24-20, that amounts to 44 points, which would indicate to take the over in the Over/Under, which is set at 41.0.
You might think this is going to be a defensive battle, which I do think it will be, but these two defenses can score points—so it’s not necessarily going to be a low-scoring game. In this age of college football, 41 for the Over/Under is just so low, so it’s almost a no-brainer to take the over.
